Another workman, this time a painter was working on repainting the Office Closet, for we had had a lot of smoke damage smells in the house. He was a good Baptist man and a faithful churchgoer, I was told.
One day, I came to check on him and to see if the work was going well, and he asked me if I was sure no one else was in the house, for he kept hearing voices and people talking. I assured him, he was all alone today while he was painting, then he told me he thought it was spooky in there.
He finished the closet but I had to find another man to finish the kitchen, he was spooked. LOL
