Said the Prophet to the Evangelist!

One of the difficulties of being evangelism-oriented is that you tend to see salvation as the goal when instead salvation is the first step to transformation.  Even though many believers sow, water, reap or otherwise perform one step in the nurturing process, we must see the whole picture if we want to complete our portion of the journey; because without it we can’t see where we’re going.
There is more; and we need to constantly encourage people in this reality and to instill a passion & hunger for God, in whichever way we know Him.

Said the Prophet to the Evangelist

I am deep waters ~ deep, quiet, and dark (as in mysterious), my job is mostly spiritual work through intercession and prophecy of encouragement.  You are like the ocean surface, bright and full of activity, and your waves beckon others to come in.  Both are needed to be the ocean.  The deep without the surface would simply be a stagnant lake and the surface without the deep, would simply be a wave upon the shore, quickly dried up.
I did not intend to tell you that your step in the process was less significant than mine.  I only, as a friend, wished for you to know a little of the depth I know, just as you would wish me to minister to the world the truth of the cross I, all believers, have within.
You are a deep person, one who muses over poems and people and beliefs and then turns and expresses that in the beauty of art.  This draws people to ask where you got this and you always point them to the Lord.
How wonderful!
I saw in you the potential to go to a new and exciting stage in your relationship with the Lord, and out of my zeal I took things out of the Lord’s hands and pushed too hard.  You are right, to continue in your struggle, on your journey.  The Lord will draw you when your heart is ready.
Only know this, there is so much more, the best romance story is only a boring school lesson compared to this!
Deep is calling out to deep ~ stay in the place where the Lord put you, but let your heart sink deep, deep down into the depths of God.  He will show you more than you ever dreamed.  And there will be your peace, your acceptance, your motivation, and your reward.

At the end of the worship watch, Jennifer stayed and played alone, and yet not alone.  The Lord came and inhabited her worship in His beautiful prophetic ‘Jenny’s song’ as I like to call it.  The worship flows so sweetly and so melodically like angels have entered the room ~ oh such sweet anointing.  Earlier she said she saw 4 or 5 little dancing lights as she was worshipping with the team.  They were dancing all around her music like fireflies.  She thought at first they must be a reflection off of something shiny so she looked around at all the things in the room and checked out her shirt too, but nothing was making the dancing lights.  Then she thought she would reach out to try and touch them and as she put out her hand to try and play with them they flew off and disappeared.  Cool!  I guess we can chalk that one up to another ‘Wonder’ of the Lord’s.
