Cynthia K Kennedy

Cyndi

I am a voluntary lovesick worshipper of Jesus Christ. I adore the Holy Spirit and all He does. I am a Daddy’s Girl and I love to crawl up in Father God’s lap and just snuggle and be loved.
My claim to fame is that I am one of the called. Without His merciful grace and lovingkindness in my life I really am just a simple person trying to make my way like everyone else in the world.
“For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, [are called].
But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;
and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are,
that no flesh should glory in His presence.”
But in God, I am an apostle/prophet/evangelist/teacher/healer/pastor and all things to all people that I may win some to Christ.
Seriously, I am just a sail awaiting the wind to blow.

While I am waiting on the Lord, as I do everyday, I like to have fun with all my family and friends.

I minister to the sick, broken, and disheartened of the world through prophetic soaking prayer, inner healing, and deliverance. I travel the world in Intercessory missions work and bring love, funds, worship, and what is needed to those in the field. I love to dig water wells in Africa too.
I started ministry when I was 10 years old in our Baptist Church in High Point, NC in the nursery and VBS. I have been in every church choir since I was about 3 and I loved church camp. I have been saved 10 or 15 good times…giggle. I just love an altar call. I come from generations of Christians.
I was in a few musicals in High School/College and I still love drama. I am a dancer and have danced most of my life, ballet, gymnastics, jazz, tap, line dancing, chorus girl, ballroom dancing, swing, and worship. I love to dance.
I was Baptized in Holy Spirit sovereignly by Jesus Himself on May 4th, 1984, in a Prayer & Praise Service in Shreveport, Louisiana. I have never been the same again. (If you want the testimony let me know and I will tell you all about it! It was very dramatic!)
I am educated with a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Landscape Design and Horticulture and I have a minor in Applied Voice. I made all A’s in college and graduated from Louisiana TECH University in 1997.
I have been to Seabury Western Theological Seminary in Chicago for 3 years with my ex-husband, where they allowed me to audit all the classes I wanted for free. I scored the second highest in the seminary on the Bible competency exam. And made A’s in Hebrew and Greek. WooHoo!
I was asked to be on the task force for Evangelism for the Diocese of Chicago and I joined for 2 years and helped in making life-changing guidelines. We actually went door to door as Episcopalians, LOL,
I loved it! Though I did stir them up a bit with my orthodox conservative charismatic views ~ they needed a little fire under their belt.
And who do you think they came to at midnight with prayer requests in their hands, knocking on my door, desperate for help ~ Yep ~ Me and Jesus!
I was a Girl Scout Leader for over 14 years and I enjoyed all of our camping and plantation trip adventures for many years. I was a Sunday School Teacher, a Christian Ed Supervisor, a Youth Group Leader, a Children’s Choir Leader, a Kingdom Kids Leader, countless summer Vacation Bible Schools of all ages, a priest’s wife for over 15 years, and all that entails! WHEW!
I am sure there is more, but you get it!
I have gone to more major outpourings of Holy Spirit’s visitations and waves than any one human being should be allowed to experience. (God told me to go and collect the honey ~ giggle.) I am so blessed.
Here are a few of major events that changed my life forever:

Holy Spirit and World Evangelization Conference 1986 New Orleans, LA
 – Charismatic Renewal in The Episcopal churches 1984-1987 –
Women’s Aglow 1984-1987
- The Bread of Life Ministries 1985 –
Messiah’s Band 1984-1987
- Cursillo 1985
 – The Vineyard 1987-1990 in Evanston Chicago, Ill
. – The Brownsville Revival (many trips) 1996-1999 in Pensacola Florida –
Light The Nations Conference, Dallas Texas, approx. 1997
 – The Toronto Blessing  2000
 – Prophetic Conference and Intercessory trip to Israel 2001 –
IHOP-KC many Conferences and The Awakening 1999 to 2014 –  Many international missions trips 1999 to 2014.
For 15 years (2002-2014) I planted LaHOP ~ the Louisiana House of Prayer ~ with my family and friends in Monroe, Louisiana. We have worshipped in intercessory ministry and prayed for so many topics I cannot list them here, it would be too many. In the secret place of worshipping and interceding – life is sweet in the arms of God – as He takes you into the realms of the beauty of holiness. I am what the old saints called a “Mystic”.
I have been in God’s experimental training program in the Prayer Movement and He has taught me so much and changed me in ways I am not sure I recognize yet, but none of us will ever be the same again.
“I am My Beloved’s and He is Mine.”
I was called sovereignly and by the audible Voice of Father God in 1999 to international missions, which is something He told me about over 20 years previously. I was so excited and started my new life in international ministry to China, South Africa, Israel, England, France, Germany, and Ireland.
I hope to return and expand to many nations in the months ahead.

I served with the “Firebase Movement” in Dallas Texas and helped to lead in Intercession, Evangelism, & Worship & Prayer. I was head prayer Room Co-ordinator for 3-4 crusades. (See complete page on FIREBASE!)
In 2009 my husband of 30 years left me and my children where he left the ministry as well. It was devastating, but in the arms of My Beloved Jesus ~ I am whole again.  I am truly His and He is mine. I am free to go and be as Holy Spirit desires with no demands on my life. All I want in life is to be His and He mine.
All of this, as the Apostle Paul would say, are rubbish to me, save for knowing the Lord Jesus Christ.
COME AND SEE!
